Hot Lava and Ghana Glass Bead Bracelet
This stunning bracelet designed for either men or women is created with black lava beads and Ghana recycled glass beads. Finished with black suede leather and recycled glass bead. There is a knot at the end that can be adjusted for the perfect fit. The black lava beads look so sharp with your choice of turquoise blue or a night blue beads. Ghana Glass Beads: The majority of beads in Ghana are made in by the Ashanti and Krobo people in the Krobo region. Beads still play a very prevalent role in modern Krobo culture. For example, beads are used in ceremonies of birth, coming of age, marriage, or death and are generously displayed in festivals and parades.
The stem of a cassava leaf is used to make the hole. The beads are baked in a furnace causing the glass to melt together and cassava stem to burn, leaving only the grainy textured "sand glass" bead behind.
Lava Stone is a grounding stone that strengthens one's connection to Mother Earth. It gives us strength and courage, allowing us stability through times of change. It provides guidance and understanding in situations where we may need to "bounce back". A calming stone, it is very useful in dissipating anger.
